NARROWBOATS - This is Springboat
One of the four seasons of the narrowboats series. Spring comes to the canal and the narrowboats wake from their slumber of Winter Mooring and start to explore the network once again. The trees are in bloom with blossom and 'Springboat' gives a nod to Hanami and the glorious Japanese festival of the Cherry blossom. It celebrates the short-lived beauty of Sakura and in our own way, we also do.
NARROWBOATS - This is Summerboat
One of the four seasons of the narrowboats series. Summer brings a profusion of flowers and colour is the order of the day. Summerboat seeks to encompass lazily passing along the canal, bordered on either side by the English countryside and its particular mix of flora.
NARROWBOATS - This is Autumnboat
One of the four seasons of the narrowboats series. Autumn sees the hue of the landscape change through reds and yellows and oranges, to brown as the leaves fall, curl up and die. Mushrooms and toadstools sprout, having fed upon the fall. These in turn, bring their own colours and a richness to the end of the year, before the stark of Winter.
